Chicken and cheese biscuits were a late night staple of the after-hours crowd in Chapel Hill.  But, if you were living on a budget in the 80's and 90's, there were times you had to decide between one more beer or a trip to Time Out.  More often than not, you'd find yourself standing in line with not enough money to buy the famed chicken and cheese biscuit.  Then one day, someone decided, if you didn't mind a little work, there was still some good eatin' left on the bones of the breast used for C & C.  So for the original price of .99 cents, you could head back to your dorm, apartment or frat house and eat your fill of chicken and crust. Ahh the good life!!
